[1000mp] Cleaning PHONES and EXT SPR connectors

I tale a piece of emery cloth (or very fine sand paper) and wrap it
around the plug and them twist the plug.

Takes about 2 seconds and the works great.

plus it roughs up the surface of the plug just enough so when you plug
it in to the radio it scrapes the jack enough to clean that contact off
as well.

I've had to do this on the cheap plugs that were making poor contact
and since then they work fine.

and if they get bad again then just unplug and re-insert the plug again
and the roughed up plug clean it off as well.

Works for me.

Just don't go ape when you sand a little is all you need.
