The mod applies to the FT1000 series of rigs regardless of cw speed. Some
ops are just concerned that the mod might make their keying to "soft" at
higher speeds (>40 wpm). Apparently it doesn't, at least up to 50 wpm by the
recent testimonial, possibly higher.
