[1000mp] Mods for the Mark V

My MARK-V transmits on the new 60M band and on MARS frequencies by just
selecting general coverage transmit in "hidden" menu 9-9.

With my MP, it was option "GEn" and it's "uSa-->Gen" in my MARK-V.

Hi Bob,

First the usual disclaimer.  I haven't tried this and I do
not know if it works but here is a link with very good
pictures that will tell you how to modify your radio.  You
have to move one surface mounted resister and then do your
menu change.

I know you can find mods for the Mark V at
http://www.mods.dk/ but where else can you find them?  I
attempted one of them that allows you to get to the 5 MHz
band, according the the mod I was suppose to see one thing
and then turn the knob until I saw the 2nd thing.  For that
menu position I didn't see either thing so I gracefully
bowed out before I screwed something up.
