[1000mp] Field Question

	Bill, I have the Field (I believe all the iterations use the same display)
and it behaves as you describe. It appears to be very sensitive to ambient
temperature. When the shack is at 68 degrees or less it can take at least
15-20 minutes to reach normal brightness. At 72 degrees and above it is much
quicker. I even went so far to send it back to Yaesu, and they said no
problem found. Must have been a warm day in California! The time lapse
photos I have taken tell a very different story.

OK all you long time FT1000 owners, I have a question.  The
display on my field seems quite dim to me although it is on
high.  After it has been on about 5 min, it gets brighter but
still dim.

Is this normal?
