Tom - go to the va3cr.net site under the Mark V section and find my summary of
filter options for the 1000 family . It has all of the Yaesu and INRAD units
listed with as much information as I could find on shape factors, etc.
[Anybody have any of the missing info? - please email me and I'll update]
FYI - Yaesu did have a 500 Hz crystal filter for the 1000D that will work in
the newer units. Yaesu used Collins mechanical filters in the later MP rigs.
INRAD offers both crystal and mechanical options.
Mix and match is no problem. If you can't fill all of the slots, start with
the 8.2 IF first.
Good luck. 73, George VE3YV / K8HI
