Hello Joe,

I have the same with my Mark-V. It is an intermitted problem. It happens
once in a month or so. That's the reason that the repair could'nt trace it.
I tried the general reset, but the problem is still there.

When you switch off one of the knobs where a led burns (like the PROC, MONI
or CLASS-A knob) this "scanning" will stop. Try it.

I am afraid this is some kind of a software bug.

I was wondering if anyone had any idea weather or not the 1000mp I have
would be worth reapairing.  We ha a storm around here yesterday and this
morning when I went to turn on the radio the readout went to 7.0000 and
started counting backwards to .100.  None of the controls workand only a few
other lites lit up. Basically I have no control over any of the functions of
the radio.  I am not looking for any tech help just a few opinions as to the
feasability of repair and if it will work the same way it did before the
accident??  Thanks for any opinions from the group I can get.
