Well, it definitely happens with N1MM Logger.  I think the solution is to 
get the software writers to check whether the RIT is on before executing a 
frequency change, and if it is, send the command to turn it back on after 
the frequency change is completed.

Another not so nice thing is that when I change bands under computer 
control, the antenna selection remains the same as that selected on the 
band I'm leaving.  If you change bands from the front panel, the radio 
remembers the antenna selection you had made when you were last on that band.
