Hunter, have you found what if any after production
update(s) had been done?
I noticed a small amount of thermal grease on the outside of my lower case
towards the front. the only thing I notice is that I do have the initial dim
to bright display after turning it on. no grease involved in that mod so...

Purchased my Field two weeks ago.  It Also had the inspection sheet.  I =
was told that the radios are unpacked when they reach states side and =
fired up for QC, and then resealed for domestic shipment. WB9NJB.

30/17/12M.
has any one else receved a "Inspection" sheet from yaesu stating the =
radio
was inspected for QC? my field had this note in it.....sound like a re =
pack?
