[1000mp] Firmware turns Clarifier off

I don't particularly love the size of the Clarifier knob, but the thing
that is really annoying about the Mark V's firmware is that any time the
radio is commanded to change frequencies or bands, the firmware turns off
the clarifier. Try finding that tiny Clarifier On button when you really,
really need to tune off your run frequency. I may have to go with Bill's
work-around unless the software guys figure this one out. Too bad, too,
because I really like having the software zero the RIT after each run QSO,
to improve my chances of hearing a caller out on the opposite side of
zero-beat from where I just was. Maybe the software could just be taught
to do an A=B instead of ClearRIT.
By the way, does this happen on the straight MPs too? The D's?
