Having owned the Mark V for over a year CAN anyone tell me something good about this transceiver. I sold a 1000MP and I be damn the filter selectivity on it was better that this one.

BTW I have all the filters installed and the dsp seems useless

Since the Mark V has limited ability to individually choose which
filters are used, I would like to build a dummy IF filter that would
simply pass the signal through with the proper attenuation. This would
give more combination options from the front of the radio when choosing
filters that I do not have a match for, in both IFs.

I was hoping that somebody has already done this or may have some tips,
or may know which components and values to use to build the attenuator.

Thanks,
