There is a component layout of this part of the board at
www.w8ji.com/ft1000mk_v.htm.  I used a 25 watt soldering iron to do this mod
and that is probably still a little too big for the job. Many have found it
safer to just break the surface mount resister, but too late for that.

It should all be repairable above the board.  Good Luck.
