[1000mp] Mark V on 220V

Yesterday, right in the middle of a QSO, I blew power fuse, ending the QSO and beginning my search for additional power short of running another 110 line into the shack.  I have just about used up all the 110 power available, so my thought is to run the Mark V on 220 volts and free up some additional 110 power.  With all the stuff in my shack, including computers, add-ons, and gear, I'm having a power crisis.  There is a 220 switch on the Mark V power supply, but I'm not sure if that is for the 2 hots and a ground configuration used in the United States.  I'm completely ignorant of how power is configured in other countries.  

The manual, on page 9, has a section at the bottom, on changing the AC input voltage selector switch, stating "USA Users Only."  But then one of the items under that heading states:  "Move the Voltage Selector Switch to the appropriate mains voltage for your country......"  (If this section is only for USA hams, this sentence would be completely unnecessary.)  This does not give me much confidence that the 220 selector is for use with US power.  So, I'd like to hear from someone actually using the FP-29 on 220 V.  Is there a factory power cable for 220, or does one adapt the regular 110 V cable, using a 220 V connector, with the common or white wire (in the 110 configuration) being the second hot wire for 220?
