[1000mp] Strange effects on 15 and 17 metre bands

The parts for the mod arrived this morning.
I have now just fitted them and given the rig a good test.

Replacing the inductors with the toroidal types was a bit tricky with my
eyesight. There are two surface mount components very close to the solder
pads. But apart from that, dead easy.

The problem now seems to be cured !!

Many thanks to all who replied putting me on the right track.

Never did get around to doing the other mods though!

If you search around for the official Yaesu written documentation for this
mod on the web, the results I got were a bit blurred and very difficult to
read. If anyone wants a good clean copy, reply to me off-list and I will
send you a scanned copy.
