There was a filter discussion here a few days ago about filters for the Mark
V.

Some people told me that the Yaesu XF 115 C and the YF 115 C filters were
exactly the same.  Well, the filters may be but the boards they are mounted
on are not......

Not really wanting to tear my new Mark V apart twice, I ordered a YF 115C
and a XF 115C with return privilege on the one I did not need.

The XF 115 C is on a plug in board about 2/3 the size of the proper one for
the Mark V.

The YF 115 C is much larger and is the proper one for the Mark V.
