For more than a year, I have always used my Mark V (not Field) in class A
mode when I use my linear.  It is just convenient to hit the Class A switch
and reduce my power to 75 watts so I don't overdrive my linear - works
great, drives my SB-220 to full power, and no cooked finals.......yet.  Tom
