Probably need more info. Have you tried all ways of putting it into
transmit..mic switch, key, front panel mox, etc? How about all modes? Any
external device that might be inhibiting transmit? Checked menu settings? I
think there is one that turns transmit off.

Found out this morning that my Mark V won't even go into transmit mode.  It
appears to receive fine.  Anybody got a clue?
