[1000mp] AFSK/SSB Power Drop

Hi Thomas,

Thanks for the tips. The display lights don't flicker, and the rig isn't 
resetting itself. There is just 0 power output on SSB, but the rig keys. 
When I switch to CW and send a dit then all is well. I found out also 
today that it doesn't matter what antenna I'm using. The rig exhibits 
this same behaviour in this totally random fashion no matter what 
antenna is attached.

My antenna tuner does have a balun. The balanced line from the wire loop 
goes into it and the output is coax to the rig. I took the antenna tuner 
offline and fed the mag loop directly to the rig (I have two loops one 
is a wire loop and one is a mag loop fed by coax). Same thing. It goes 
great for qso after qso, and then decides to quit! Switch to CW send a 
dit, then it works again.

It's so weird. I had just finished a SARTG contact and decided to go out 
for a bit. Turned the rig off and when I came back 20 minutes later and 
turned the rig on it wouldn't transmit. But I had just finished 
transmitting before I turned the thing off! So I send a dit and then all 
is well.

I'm so confused :-).
