[1000mp] help setting up for SSB contesting

Hello All

I am primarily a CW to extent that My MP has probably only been used for
a couple of dozen contacts on SSB, compared with the 100,000+ CW ...

with this in mind, any helpful advice welcomed on how best to set the
rig up for Transmit in an upcoming SSB contest.
Level of drive and compression etc. - it will be driving my Quadra.
