[1000mp] Wireing a MP with the SP8

[FireBrick]

connecting the SP8 speaker to the Yaesu MP  creates a small problem.
By using the EXT SPK connector which is NOT a stereo connector combines both vfo signals

Using a speaker...it more or less has to be that way.

But if you plug your headphones into the SP8 panel connector, you loose the ability to
tune a station on VFO A and tune VFO B for his qsx freq. (if there is one of course :-) )

Has anyone separated the channels in the SP8 so that the front connectors serve the same
as on the MP?

Figured I'd ask before opening it up.
(don't have a schematic)

I really don't need the audio filtering but would leave it on one channel if that was
possible.
