I'm confused by this logic.  Contests usually have low power (less than 100W) and high power (more than 100W) categories.   Why would someone voulentarily put themself in direct competition with big-dog QRO stations using only 200W???   

I usually turn my MP down a little when I enter low power contests.  100W makes the thing just too danged hot during extended CQing.
