[1000mp] AFSK RTTY Polarity

Chris I'm using MMTTY and getting audio from the RTTY port on the
back of the rig only because I use FSK. I don't need to click
reverse for receiving. I do have to reverse polarity for FSK
keying with my homebrew interface, through the menu, but that
doesn't affect receive.

Subject: [1000mp] AFSK RTTY Polarity

Hi Folks,

I'm a little confused about AFSK RTTY on the Mark V. Whenever I tune in
to an RTTY signal I have to change the polarity on whatever software
package I'm using to properly decode the signal. I've tried MixW, MMTTY,
and TrueTTY and each program needs to have the reverse RTTY flag
toggled on, so I'm assuming this is a radio issue. I understand there's
an easy set option to force PKT to USB, but shouldn't RTTY be LSB? I'm
totally new to RTTY and would like to get the settings right on the
radio before I call CQ!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
