[1000mp] Rtty not working on Mark V

To Phil and others:

In RTTY mode, when you key the MP by shorting RTTY jack pin 3 (PTT) to ground
and touch pin 1 (FSK) to ground, the sound as heard in the monitor _should_ change
in a mark to space transition.
That would be my indication of FSK working correctly.

Does _yours_ work this way?

Phil if you have an extra 4 pin DIN plug could you bring it to the meeting?
They are hard to find - meaning RS doesn't carry them <g>.

similiar to what's shown on AA5AU's pages:

(Frequency Shift Keying). Therefore you must use the MIC input (or the Phone Patch input) as the input on the transceiver. With MMSSTV you operate in
LSB mode and the MMSSTV program generates the tones. Good luck...
