[1000mp] Rtty not working on Mark V

I am trying to setup MMTTY on a Mark V with FSK using the RTTY jack
on the back.

With the Mark V in RTTY mode (lsb and rtty lights showing),
I can key the Mark V by shorting the PTT pin on the RTTY jack to the ground pin
on the jack.

However, when I short the FSK pin to the ground pin there is no change in the tone
as heard with Monitor on.

This seems wrong to me and I would like to know if the Mark V is operating properly.
