[1000mp] No VRF or IDBT on Mark V

I can not get either the VRF or IDBT to turn on, with the buttons on VFO A 
Shuttle Jog ring.
I tried a master CPU reset with no results.  Disconnected everything except 
powerand reset CPU with the same results. Menu 9-5 did not flash VRF or IDBT 
lights.   I have not found any other post on this problem.  Any suggestions 
other than back to service department. hi  Unit is 0122703 Mark V.
