Hallo John,
I always recommend the Inrad filters! I would'nt say that Yaesu filters are
not of good quality, but the Inrad filters have a remarkable good shape
factor and a huge choice of bandwidths. That's the reason I have chosen for
this scheme:
2800 Hz
2100 Hz
1000 Hz (excellent CW-bandwidth for contests)
400 Hz
More selectivity I get from the EDSP.
I also advise the excellent Inrad IF-modification for the 70 MHz IF.
