[1000mp] Bad Antenna Relay?

In my case just pressing the MOX button, sometimes once, sometimes a few
times (no output when in CW) returns sensitivity to normal.

I opened it up last night - the SO-239's are soldered directly to the tuner
board, and I recently resoldered them. The A/B antenna switching is
actually a pair of relays, the transmit/receive relay is separate. To get
to the component side of the board I would have to unsolder the SO-239's -
didn't feel like doing that.

Next time it happens I'll try cycling the A/B antenna relays a few times -
normally I never touch these.

But, in the case under discussion, tapping the key restores the gain--how
would that happen with the defect you note---way down the line in the IF?
