[1000mp] MkV fan noise

The fan in my MkV power supply and several others I've listened to made =
an annoying, very low howling sound.  It was due to the air rushing =
through the vents rather than the fan itself. R53 in the power supply is =
a 68ohm 1W resistor in series with the fan.  I replaced it with a 200ohm =
1W resistor and the fan is virtually silent now.  Nothing in the supply =
got remotely warm before of after the mod and I've been running like =
this for over 2 years now.

The main fan in the rig comes on periodically when in RX mode and also =
after transmitting for a while.  It is fairly loud and pretty much =
requires the use of headphones.  Since I almost always use headphones it =
hasn't been a problem.
