[1000mp] FT1000D and CAT-Probs

Hello Gentlemen (and for sure the Ladies also !)

At our contest station DF0CG (www.df0cg.de) we do use four FT 1000 D and =
one FT 1000 MP MARK V.

The TRX are connected to the Log PCs with interfaces sold by WIMO in DL.


Now the following question:
After the last contest we recognized very hard problems with the CAT =
interfaces or better with the CAT control from the rigs.


On two of the FT 1000 D the CAT control doesn=B4t work anymore....!

No problems with the interfaces just the TRX itself cares the problems !



So what could this be ? Is it possible that there did get some RF into =
the rig through the interface and did blow it up ?


Maybe someone on the list did have the same probs and can help !

As you can see on the homepage we do use big antennas and there is =
really lots of RF "on air", but this may not damage the FT1000D=B4s Cat =
control ?!?!??
