I have had my FT1000MP Mark V for about 8 months, and I like it very much.
Everything has been ok except twice
I have had the same problem. Xmit power will go to full output, the watt
meter and swr meter will read nothing. Appears to
happen when I am loading the Mark V into the TL922A. I also had a 940 which
is turned off, where I could switch between the
two rigs. I have sold the 940 and only have the Mark V. There is no way to
turn down the power its 200 watts or zero on full
counter clockwise on the control. I sent the rig off for repair and it was
the same parts each time.
D6001,D6002,D6003,D6004,C6062 and C6063 of the LPFunit.
Does anyone know what I am doing wrong so it will not happen again? Or is
it just my Mark V? I usually go with low power to
the TL922A then peak the amp. Usually 50 watts will drive the amp to full
output.

Second I want to purchase at least two new Inrad filters to use with the
factory filters. Does anyone have suggestions as to
what two to purchase. My main modes are RTTY and CW, very little contesting
here. My rig only has the factory filters that
come with the rig.

Thanks,
