[1000mp] 1000mp Tuner Malfunction

I need some suggestions. =20

When I switch my FT-1000mp Field to 18 MHz and have the antenna tuner =
on, the "wait" light stays lit continuously.  Also, it will not =
automatically tune into a dummy load on 18 MHz.

The antenna tuner operates normally on all other bands.

Why does the "wait" light stay lit?  Any suggestions?
