[1000mp] Strange problem and Poor audio result

Just had a strange problem with my MP.  I switched it on and found that =
although both VFOs worked and audio was being recieved if tuned up and =
down the band, I could neither change the mode or band on either of the =
VFOs.  I switcehed the unit off and on again and just the same.  After =
several on/off cycles the rradio appeared to return to normal however on =
closer inspection the sub VFO has much higher quality than the main vfo. =
 Its fairly normal in my experience for the sub vfo to have slightly =
poorer quality audio than the main vfo, but it is as if they have =
swapped places.=20

I read a few times over many months about how resetting the CPU cand =
cure different problems, could this be worth a try if so could someone =
breifly explain how its done again and any consequences it may have =
elsewhere.
