[1000mp] Let me state my case more fully

My shack is in the basement. RIGHT under the Electrical Service and right
over the copper water service.
My tower is RIGHT outside the basement wall, less than 4 feet from the rig.
The tower is grounded with multiple ground rods around the perimeter of the
tower.
The electric meter, on the outside wall also has it's own ground rod as per
local codes.
The electric service is overhead.
On the outside wall, right behind the rig shelf I Mounted a 3" wide copper
strip.
I installed brass washers, bolts and wing nuts spaced about 6" along the
length of the copper strip. (not sure of the gauge of the copper but it's
like 1/16th" thick) I even used a GREAT BIG iron to put solder over the bolt
head and copper strip.
Now my system is not exactly daisychained. MP, Amp, and other ancillary
equipment each have a ground strap connected to one of the bolts on that
wall mounted copper strip.
All coax are terminated with a grounding device outside the wall at a ground
rod.
The wall mounted copper strip is also attached to that ground rod and the
other end is attached to the water pipe.
Rig, Amp, and most of the equipment all have separate circuits, amp is 220.
Even the computer has it's case connected to the wall mounted copper strip.
Now unfortunately, the tower is next to the house and the antenna partially
cover the back half of the house. No room to move it farther away, Just
can't be done.
Now one person did mention that he could measure the difference in ground
potential.
I'm assuming he was using a vom to measure the voltage between a live
circuit and the ground rod.
Or is there a better way of doing this.
The rfi I experience does not shut down the computer, it doesn't effect the
keyer or DVK.
It does interfere with the cable TV on some frequencies. But it does tear up
the phone even though I have both Bell junction box filters and filters just
before the instruments.
But listening to myself using the MP's monitor in both cw and ssb exhibits
harshness that varies with band in use.
So what mistake have I made?
I can't help but think that if I find that one error, the improvement will
be dramatic.
This has been driving me nuts for a long time.
Plus it will help me work that one last DX entity I need even if Wife is
talking on phone or watching TV.
