Hi Leo,

It is not advisable to connect the footswitch to key the FT-1000MP and the
Quadra separately. The FT-1000MP should be connected to the Quadra exactly
as per the Quadra user manual. You can then connect the footswitch to the
FT-1000MP PTT jack.

I have a combination of Yaesu FT1000MP and a Quadra amplifier. Can anybody
please tell me where do you connect or should it be connected at all, the
RCA male adapter which is part of the FS-2 Dual Foot-Switch? I am presently
using a FS-1 Foot-Switch which has only the PTT plug.
