When you install the Inrad 1000 Hz CW filter into slot 3 (normally used for
2000, 2100 or 1800 Hz SSB filters) the offset is not correct for CW. It may
be altered via the menus, and the User key and be used to select this setup,
or use the Shift key.

Inrad made a very good overwiew of their filters and the options in the
FT-1000 (D, MP, Mark V and Field).
