Dear Jochen:

Do you have your shift such that the two filters are not alligned in NAR 2 ?

Did you tell the radio by setting the menu(s) which filters are in the
positions inside the radio?  The radio will not recognize a filter that has
been installed, but not programed.  It sounds like you did that and confirm
it with menu 5.6.

Finally, check the diode(s) in front of the 455 IF position, to make sure
the switching works for your 500 Hz filter.  You may still want that checked
and repaired by Yaesu in NL since it is under warranty.
