Subject: [1000mp] FT1000MP MARK V Filter Question/Problem

Hello FT1000 user

I do have a little problem with my rig....!

I have an FT1000 MP MARK V with following filters:

250Hz CW/8,2 XF114CN
2,0kHz SSB/8,2 XF114SN
2,0kHz SSB/455 XF110SN
500Hz CW/455 (+ SUB also) XF115C

Today listening at the CW-contest I recognized following thing:

If I do catch a station booming 599 and I switch between NOR, NAR1 and NAR2,
the station disappears...!
No copy at all !
Only when its in NOR....!

When I hit menue 5.6 and swith 455-500 off everythings seems to be fine...!

Could it be that the collins filter are broken ?

I changed both and cant get any difference !

Or should it be better to carry it directly to YAESU in PA-land ?! I still
do have guarantee on it !!!

Regards de Jochen !
