Dennis,

When speaking into the microphone on SSB, I only get up to 2 LEDs lit on the 
FTV-1000.  If you whistle into the microhone with a constant tone, you should 
see all 5 LEDs lit.  With a scope placed across the 50 ohm load (and speaking 
with normal voice), it is showing 200Wpp however... the same amplitude (at its 
peak) that I see when I use the CW mode.

The unit worked great about a week or so ago, when I happen to catch a band 
opening!
