Thanks for the response, Denny, checked that but it is not the cause. BTW I 
also notice the display delay occasionally. I am new to the list and it is 
good to see that it isn't just my radio that has the delay.

Make sure you don't have the noise blankers activated.
If I have mine turned on it will sometimes cause a little
distortion in the audio.  Good Luck.      73
