[1000mp] Heil Headsets and MP

I have two Pro headsets.  One with general cartridge and one with the DX
cartridge.  I use the DX cartridge only with my QRP rig to get a little
audio boost.  I use the general cartridge with my MK V and only do SSB for a
net which covers 8-10 states..  I tried them both with the MK V and the
general consensus was that my audio was more pleasant to the ear with the
general cartridge.  The DX cartridge over powered the audio, even with a
couple of hours of trying to adjust the mike gain and the processor.  I have
not personally tried the Pro Plus.

Thinking of purchasing a Heil proset plus headset for the MP, anyone any
experience of sound quality or other problems compared to using the the MD
100 Desk mic.

One comment already was forget about the Plus with the two inserts and go
for the proset with the DX insert only and save the $50.

Any comments ??
