Hi,

the receivers are not identical which definately makes a difference. =
However, you'll see the biggest difference by toggling the IPO on and =
off. When the IPO is engaged it is kind of "pre-amp off"-mode on the =
main RX, and you should see similar S-meter readings in both receivers.

Subject: [1000mp] Sub VFO Receiver

Hello,

As a new user I've been getting familiar with the Mark V, somethings =
clear
and other functions a little cloudy. I guess over time I will get as
comfortable as my old Icom 751A.

I do have a question.

Tuning to WWV for a steady signal on 10 and 15 mhz I notice a consistant =
2
s-unit lower reading on the sub VFO. Any ideas? I have Inrad filters in =
the
main VFO but have not done anything with the sub B VFO.

Thanks,
Randy
