[1000mp] Use of the Memories

Tom - I use a few of the memories and have them in groups.
Group 1 is WWV /WWVH standard frequencies for quick propagation checks
Group 2 are starting places for DX on cw (14020, 18070, etc.) and phone for each
band - good way to pop them into the VFO if you prefer to the shuttle jog and
overshoot.
Group 3 is miscellaneous stuff - like some HF broadcasting band ends, HF
aircraft control frequencies bands, and other stuff that for some reason I
thought I'd need to find again..
I use the QMB to store PSK frequencies at the moment.  Others may use them for
nets, favourite calling frequencies, etc.

Of course you can use them or not as you like.  For example, the FT-100D has 300
memory spaces - I haven't a clue how I'd ever want to fill them when there's no
way to label them to remember what they were!
