answer is probably yes, unless Yaesu already incorporated the fix in
production units. Somebody else on this list might know the answer. You

The RF board mod goes in the same place on both, circuit wise and layout
wise, but the component designators are different; C1218 on the MP and
C1004 on the MkV.
