[1000mp] Ft100mp - Sensitivity ?

Hi,

I have recently been comparing the sensitivity of my FT1000MP against an =
IC706 mk 11 G.

I was surprised that the mp seemed to have a lower sensitivity, and the =
706 appeared more lively. This may be in part to a more noisey front end =
on the 706.

However after altering the if amp setting in menu 91 on the mp from a =
value of 14 to a value of 30, I was quite impressed and the receiver =
seems a lot more sensitive.

I wonder if anyone else has changed this setting and would be interested =
in comments. At the moment I am only trying this test on a quiet 17 =
metres.
