So that's the key (so to speak) ... a 20 over 9 signal?

Since I rarely (if ever) achieve such a signal during contests (and my 
rates prove it), then it's likely not to be a problem from me.  Any 
problems that I DO hear, ARE usually from the strongest signals on the 
bands ... which are usually the "big guns" (and some of the EU signals 
are the worst offenders).

Does that mean us "little pistols" can do the INRAD and/or W8JI mods, 
and make everyone (including ourselves) happy?
