Hi Billy,
I put W8JI's well researched and tested key click modification in my MKV 4 
months ago.  Tom has done a great job of documenting his work.
My MKV was over +-3 KHz wide before the mod. es less than 800 Hz after the 
mod.
I've done 2 other MKV's and 3 old MP1000's for disabled or senior citizen 
hams with poor eyesight, no charge, takes abt 2 hrs.
For all others $80 per hour.  Equip: HP 8594 spectrum analyzer, HP 8920B 
communications system analyzer, etc.
