[1000mp] Mod's to ft1000mp

This is a short note to thank all the people who have submited =
information on how to improve the performance of the ft1000 / ft1000d =
and subsequent models.
I had the rig - ft1000mp - open on the bench and have fitted the mod's =
as listed below ----

1/.  Noise blanker mod.  To improve front end IMD response, this is =
listed by K0ZZ on VA3CR web site and also W8JI web site, hopfully this =
will make approx 10db improvement.
2/.  Key click mod.  To reduce key clicks as per INRAD information, but =
with drawings and photo's by W7HV. ( this works a treat )
3/. Bonus mod.  To reduce high frequency response of audio stages when =
operating cw as per INRAD, but with info from W7HV.  I'm not sure about =
this mod at the moment because it seems to take out the sparkle of the =
receiver, ie. makes the audio sound dull.

For mod number 1 i needed to get pcb layouts and schematic diagrams of =
the ft1000  -the mod info I had was for this rig-   to check if I could =
do the mod to my ft1000mp, from the little I know it may be possible to =
do the same mod on the MK5 and the field ?  My large local yaesu dealer =
would not supply the nessesary photo copies of the diagrams !  So I gave =
yaesu uk a ring and they supplied the nessesary for no charge apart from =
a stamped self addressed enverlope.
