[1000mp] Sudden FP-29 failure

It funny ....they charge 499.99 for a switching power supply....then only charge a
little more for there FT-840 HF radio ......Surely a radio cost more to make and is
more complicated than a power supply. I bet the don't even make it .....I know for a
fact the switching power supply in the original 1000mp and the FT-990 was made by
Futaba .....I have fixed those....It say futaba all inside those. I guess they figure
you pay all that money for a radio ....they might as well gouge you on parts ...Kinda
like buying parts for a Mercedes or BMW ....i'll keep my old 1000MP
