Sorry, but I no longer have the Orion.  After Ten-Tec checked it in their
lab for a week they told me that they could find nothing wrong with it
and gave me a refund.  A few days later they implied (in a "white paper"
about the programmable AGC) that I was operating the receiver improperly.
 Hogwash!  I had tried changing the AGC parameters and it didn't help a
bit!

Too bad, because I had such high hopes for the Orion (otherwise I would
not have ordered one in the first place).  Perhaps someday they'll find
whatever problem the Orion has in digging weak CW signals out of the
noise and correct it.  When they do, I'll buy one again in a trice.

If you have an Orion, there's an open invitation for you to bring it over
to my QTH to do the same A/B tests, with you operating the Orion.
