There is a know problem with the FT1000MP (Older rigs) that do require a
small mod, it consists of grounding straps on one of the IF boards (easy to
do) and moving some of the cables.  Yaesu also has two coils that you can
replace but I did not need to do it to stop the problem you are having.

Search the archives for data relative to the 15m fix.  It is easy to do
unless you also need to replace the coils.

If you can find the fix in the archive please advised and I think that I
have records I can send to you.  Will take a while to dig them out.

Somebody could guide me on the problem that has the FT 1000mp of a friend,
in 15m suddenly the antenna is not able to sintonizarze, and the rig  is as
if it would not have antenna and suddenly all this normal one and it works
correctly.
The problem is only in 15m and with mono and tribands antennas
