Hello Gentleman,

I suggest that anyone that questions the INRAD IF mod for the FT-1000MP they 
should review the archives.  A few years ago I owned two FT-1000MPs and I 
installed the INRAD mod in one unit and left the other unit stock.  I A/B 
switched the two radios while comparing the weakest signals I could find and 
copy.  The MP with the INRAD mod was superior and could hear stations the 
other MP couldn't hear at all.  My MP hears stations just fine that are S-0 
on 20 meters with the 10 element log periodic, but I need the Commander to 
work those weak stations.
